Inphinet are delighted to launch a new website for Dr Phil Hadfield – www.philhadfield.co.uk, a research and training consultancy specialising in the alcohol and drugs field. They have expertise in crime prevention, community safety and urban cultural planning issues, with a particular interest in the night-time economy.

They are based in Leeds and work regionally, nationally and internationally, to provide bespoke services to clients in central and local government, policing, alcohol and drug services, the legal profession, and other private sector organisations. We want to wish Phil loads of success with his new venture.

Testing 'caffeine'

When one of our technical team sent over the link to the new Google search that is currently in the testing phase I was definitely interested, now I’m excited.

It certainly has a bigger index and is even quicker - but we have to ask; Are google spending money on pointless reworking due to the increasing competition from sites such as bing.com and yahoo? On the BBC site Matt Cutts, head of webspam at Google, denied that Caffeine was launched in response to competitive search engines. This is a reasonable claim; while google are constantly changing the algorithms of the search engine a rework of this size would have taken along time to create and test. 

Basically search engines work on algorithms which perform a specific sequence of operations, as market leaders in changing the way their search engine works google have, effectively, changed SEO. Improve your search engine ranking – naturally….

We’ve just managed to get one of our largest clients the very top spot on page 1 of Google, without having to rely on PPC (Pay Per Click)  / Adwords. We provide website design and development for them and also advise on SEO.

Just 6 weeks ago, they sat in a lonely position on page 8 of Google’s search results, whenever a key phrase was searched for.

On typing the phrase into Google today, lo and behold, page 1, position 1 – it really doesn’t get much better than that. Inphinet were 10 years old earlier this year and we’ve been designing and developing websites from the outset. 

People often ask us why we ended up in this industry and how we came about being so good at it.

Well……back in 1999, one of our founders worked in Marketing for a large PLC in Bradford and had to outsource all of their website design and development to companies outside of Bradford. Every time the work came back, 3 key things were always noted;

The Capital of Luxury

Inphi.net are delighted to announce that following a pitch they have been chosen to create the branding and website for London’s most exclusive apartment development.

Inphi.net has been commissioned to brand Montpelier Hall, located in Knightsbridge, London, SW7. We are also tasked with creating a luxurious website to promote the benefits of this exclusive development. There are six apartments in total including the penthouse and prices will be around £15m each.

European Lamp Group to light up the web

Inphinet have designed and developed a complete catalogue website for The European Lamp Group, one of Europe’s largest suppliers of lamps, lightbulbs and control gear.

With perhaps one of the largest ranges on the web, the site aims to allow users to request a multi product quote from the site, then to have it individually priced by the team at ELG.
