Yes, you’re probably aware that there are loads of companies out there promising the earth, baffling you with Science, guaranteeing you top spot on Google. We even get calls too, from people offering the earth but delivering no substance. We even had a client who was promised the number one spot on Google by a ‘SEO expert’. This company did get him to the top, however, the phrase that did this was his actual business name, which prior to their work, was only getting around 14 searches per month. To me, there’s something wrong here. This is never going to generate sufficient activity to have much impact on new enquiries from new markets, as only those people who know his name are likely to type this.
